Kalani Shuts-Out Moanalua 5-0

Honolulu - Kalani defeated Moanalua 5-0 on Saturday at Les Murakami Stadium. Jarod Kaneshiro and reliever Kekoa Gabriel combined to throw a shutout.

The Falcons got things started in the second inning when Jarod Kaneshiro singled on the first pitch of the at bat, and drove in the first run.

Kaneshiro was the winning pitcher. He went five and a third innings, allowing zero runs on five hits and striking out six. Gabriel threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Ian Higa led the Falcons with two hits in two at bats including a triple.  Boxscore
