#8 Kalani Shut Out Kalaheo 9-0

Honolulu - #8 Kalani defeated Kalaheo 9-0 on Wednesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout at Kahala Community Park.

The Falcons opened up scoring in the first inning, when an error scored one run.

Kalani notched four more runs in the fourth inning. Kalani's offense in the inning was led by Kai Matsumoto, Duke Knott, and Taiyo Uchida, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Riece Myers picked up the win for the Falcons. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over five innings, striking out five and walking one. Ryan Arquero and Tyrus Viela entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

The Falcons collected nine hits on the day. Travis Toyama and Jarod Kaneshiro each had two hits to lead Kalani. Boxscore
