May 11, 2018

Waipahu - Both teams were strong on the hill Friday, but Kalani defeated Leilehua 2-1. The Falcons pitchers allowed just six hits to Leilehua.

Kalani opened up scoring in the first inning, when Noah Nakasone drew a bases loaded walk, scoring one run.

Tyrus Viela was credited with the victory for Kalani. He allowed three hits and one run over two innings, striking out one and walking zero. Jarod Kaneshiro and Pablo Ruelas entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
