Cabbat's walkoff gives Kalani Victory over Roosevelt
Honolulu, Hawaii – The Falcons Varsity took Saturday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 2-1 walk-off victory over Roosevelt. The game was tied at one with the Falcons batting in the bottom of the seventh when Logan Cabbat singled, driving in the game winning run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Hurlers for Kalani struck out four, while Roosevelt pitchers sat down two.
The Falcons evened things up at one in the bottom of the third inning. Kohl Suehiro walked with the bases loaded to drive in a run.
Micah Kawano earned the win for Kalani. He pitched two innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, striking out two, and walking one. Devin Omura started the game for the Falcons. He threw one inning, allowing zero runs, zero hits, striking out one, and walking one.
