Falcons Squeeze by the Menehunes
Honolulu, Hawaii - Kalani took the lead for good in the sixth inning to capture a back-and-forth game from Moanalua by a 5-4 score on Saturday. The game was tied at four with the Falcons batting in the bottom of the sixth when there was an error, scoring two runs. Kalani came back in the bottom of the inning to tie the score at two.
Moanalua took an early lead in the fifth scoring two more runs, to leaD 4-3. The Falcons tied things up at four in the bottm of the fifth. They added one more run in the bottom of the sixth.
Micah Kawano earned the win for Kalani tossing three innings, allowing zero runs, two hits, striking out three, and walking one.Harrison Moy started the game for Kalani going four innings, allowing four runs, nine hits, and walking one.
Kalani had eight hits in the game. Kekoa Gabriel and Bronson Matsumoto each collected multiple hits for Kalani. Boxscore
